Mirror is an interactive object. It distorts its surface according to the proximity of the user.
Mirrors are invisible objects, defined by their primary feature : give the more accurate reflect. We want to play with this accurate statement and offer a reflect distorter.
This mirror leaves its functionality to create a puzzling experience through the self perception of our bodies.
An ultrasonic sensor retrieves information according to the distance of the user. This data is translated into an angle applied by a servomotor. The servomotor is connected to the center of the plate by a semi-mobile lever which allows the deformation of the plate.
